If you ask questions when you do not understand, Ariza will be more than happy to answer them and help. I had him for two Spanish classes and his course material is always conveyed through a variety of techniques: videos, games, activities, etc. so it makes it easy to enjoy his class. The course content is not difficult, either.
- ALWAYS pay attention in class, and honestly, don't be afraid to raise your hand to ask for clarification. Ms. Barbet is incredibly kind and patient, so don't be timid to ask questions and engage in class. - When she gives those end of the unit review packages, GRIND IT OUT ASAP, then go in and ask for help in tutorial for the questions you don't understand. - Study for quizzes - DO NOT LOSE DATA BOOKLET - Pay attention in labs, understand what you are doing, because questions about lab procedures could show up on tests and quizzes - TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MORNING AND AFTER SCHOOL TUTORIALS!! She is always willing to help, and super easy to find in tutorials. Utilize your resources, so do your homework, then go ask questions. Getting to know her in tutorials helps as well!

Tips for success - Do the practice questions assigned - Go to morning and afternoon tutorials - Take notes and pay attention during class - Come well prepare, bring a pencil, an eraser, a notebook for note taking, and a graphing calculator (TI-84 Plus and any sort of Casio graphing calculator is highly recommend)
