If you ask questions when you do not understand, Ariza will be more than happy to answer them and help. I had him for two Spanish classes and his course material is always conveyed through a variety of techniques: videos, games, activities, etc. so it makes it easy to enjoy his class. The course content is not difficult, either.

If you don't understand something, do something about it!!! She is one of the nicer teachers to go to, even if you don't usually go to tutorials. DO THE WORK BOOKLETS. Ms. Barbet genuinely has everything on her D2L to guide you towards success, which almost always makes it your fault if you don't do well in class.

Tips for success - Do the practice questions assigned - Go to morning and afternoon tutorials - Take notes and pay attention during class - Come well prepare, bring a pencil, an eraser, a notebook for note taking, and a graphing calculator (TI-84 Plus and any sort of Casio graphing calculator is highly recommend)

Make sure you study for your unit exams they have the biggest impact on your grade! Pay attention and take down your notes and ask her for help if you don't understand. She does not like late assignments at all. Make sure you hand in everything on time. She doesn't really like when everyone is on their phones,.

Stay on track with the coursework. Mr. Freeman provides the worksheets and resources needed to succeed, but you have to keep yourself accountable for your learning as well. Physics IB is very dense, so pay attention in class so you don’t have to spend hours reviewing each time you do.

Always ask for help. Mrs Jensen is always happy to provide information and is super approachable. She’s not the type to get frustrated if you don’t understand something right away. Be responsible and complete tasks on time. Her way of teaching is very effective and makes her class very interactive

Overall a difficult class to be in. Kocot doesn't do any active teaching as she is always just reading off the same powerpoints she gives you to review at home and often just doesn't show up to class.

Figure out early on exactly what he wants on written assignments; maybe ask for examples of ones he's liked and why he likes them. He can be picky marking, but if you've figured out the formula, it should be easy.

- booklets count a lot more than you might think - try to memorize all bones as quickly as possible, then apply that knowledge. most of the tests are super easy once you know them.

Mr. Milner is great, send him an email at any point if you don't get it, he really tries his best. Personally, I nearly failed math 10-Pre IB but he was great and guided me through it very well. Do the practice, don't be a dick, ask questions, and you'll do fine.

Her class is pretty fun and she typically has storys to go along with it. review your notes every night for 10-15 minutes to stay ontop of things and do your work booklets every night and you should be fine its a relatively easy and enjoyable course!

It depends if you have Ms. Price in French or Dance. For Dance, just show up to class and try. She doesn't require a high level of skill. For French, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. There's a ton of tests, so study for those and the class should be fairly easy.

Mr. Raymer is super chill. If you hand in your work on time and are polite, you'll do great in his class. Also, if you get a bad grade, you can negotiate with him - he will always try to see your point of view.

Do not procrastinate. Get your work done as fast as possible and in-class if possible. If you are a full IB student, this class will take up majority of your time. Review the small details when studying for tests, and write down everything she writes on the boards and slides.

Don't even try to email never responds. She may seem scary and strict for phone rules, but inside she's very nice and kind. The class goes through a lot of note-taking, and you always want to be on top of your work, or else you will quickly fall behind. She plays these videos in class to make it more sense for others, so that's helpful. Just a heads up, study really well for the Gas combination Law. The worksheet may be easy, but when it comes to the quiz its really difficult. The class average was a 57%

Make sure to dedicate 15-30 minutes to homework and review each night, it'll help you a lot in the long run. Also, try to do the extra practice sheets she posts as much as you can, it'll help a lot and you'll gain her respect.

actually try to listen in class- I always got distracted- don't be like me. Go over powerpoints before quizzes and tests- the assessments are always exactly what was on the slides!! The Doc Analysis are hard- but try going over the slides and notes of the topic before doing it. MOST IMPORTANT DONT try doing your historical analysis submission three a week before its due- just don't do it save yourself from a lot of anxiety by starting at least two weeks before- this way you will have more time to ask questions and talk to Mr Swanton about how to improve. BTW the marks for this class are not going to be standardized,

Be sure to continuously review the fill-in-the-blanks and the powerpoints. Know your terminology. Occasionally obscure things in the notes come up as important parts of a test in the Bio IB faculty. Sometimes things that are not even in the fill-in-the-blanks will be on the test. The Bio faculty at Western Canada coordinates everything, there is no escape from a bad question on the test.

when i was in her class, she was a part time teacher, meaning that she only taught in the afternoon and was not there for morning tutorials. So, if you need extra help, go after school. Ms. T is one of the best teachers i had last years. she writes all the notes with us and did practice questions from the homework, so it was easy to keep upp in class. the homework was not required but i highly recommend doing it because its only like 20 minutes a day, the answer keys are on d2l and alot of her test questions are from the homework

Mr. Vlietstra can be confusing at times because he knows his physics but doesn't really understand that his students are beginners. However, he's really funny and will explain things to you if you're confused. But do as many practice questions as you can - practice is the only way you're going to understand physics.

READ THE TEXTBOOK! In my experience with this specific teacher, this has saved my grade, but I highly reccommend taking notes on each entire unit in the textbook. This is where many of the multiple choice questions come from.

If you ever stuck, or don’t understand a topic well, literally just ask ms young. Shes very thorough, insightful, and genuinely has so much passion for english. She explains topics super well and although snarky at times, she’s a phenomenal teacher; just be respectful, show effort, and it will be reciprocated. Always ask questions.
