Mr. Milner is great, send him an email at any point if you don't get it, he really tries his best. Personally, I nearly failed math 10-Pre IB but he was great and guided me through it very well. Do the practice, don't be a dick, ask questions, and you'll do fine.

Took his Math 10 pre-IB course. Pretty easy to stay on his good side so long as you aren't both a lazy student and disruptive. If he sees you trying then he's quite understanding and is always very helpful if you don't understand something, or even just want to know something out of curiosity. He's great at teaching, so as long as you pay ample attention in class you usually won't need help with the concepts (but if you do I'm sure he would be happy to explain it to you) and doing the assigned homework should immerse you into the subject enough to at least allow you to do decently (from an IB stand point) on tests and exams. Really, there isn't much to worry about, he pretty much takes care of you education in the subject so long as 1)you do the homework, 2)pay attention in class, and 3)ask him for help if you don't understand.

Great teacher. He's experienced enough that you can count in him being very capable of explaining complex concepts very well. If you have him, you're lucky.
