His lectures can be a bit overwhelming, so take some notes and keep track of which topics are covered every class :)

Wutzke really cares about strong evidence in writing, so memorize a few good quotes from whatever you're studying and drop them in. It's one of the most important things to him, from what I observed.

Wutzke makes philosophy really interesting, highly recommend the course :) Your grades may not be good but the concepts are really fun

Wutzke is LEGENDARY. Honestly, he's the best English teacher I've ever had. He explains everything in impressive depth, and his knowledge of the course matter is formidable. Both my writing and my ability to do reading comprehension improved exponentially during my time in his class, and I would recommend him to anyone.
