Are you taking ATAR Human Biology with Mr. Gilbert because you love human biology? Prepare to have that love tested. My one piece of advice is to keep going; even though your teacher seems to care less about ensuring his students are doing well in one of the most content-heavy courses, and more about blaming them for not doing well, keep going. Make sure to share resources with each other, because some research tasks will have outdated ones, and during tests and exams, ALWAYS do practice papers, because the marking can be harsh and balanced on semantics. Human biology is one of the most interesting courses, and you will fall in love with the content. Don't let the course's tests and teachers ruin it for you.

He's a great teacher. One thing to remember is to stay on good terms with him. Ask for more defined work - he doesn't have much structure. Otherwise, he's just another teacher!

Always use pen to answer questions and pencil to draw diagrams, he takes away marks otherwise.
