Take plenty of notes and pay attention in Politics and Law: any work that Mr. Chisholm assigns will help your studies. (Idk about regular HASS, but he's very chill. )

Honestly, try to do your work (with all your might) and follow the rules, and she will love you. People hate her because she makes jokes. But let's be real, her jokes are real and accurate, and if you can accept the truth, she'll be the best teacher of all time.

Do any and all work provided, study at home and take notes on paper if it helps you memorise better. Add extra information on your printed out slides if you need and make sure to use pen on tests except to draw diagrams. Definitions are important and try not to procrastinate on take home tasks.

Miss Im's powerpoints are really well made and she gives you specific instruction on what things to include in answers for tests. I suggest pre-reading the textbook before each section, and rereading the textbook before exams as you learn topic by topic, but the exams can mix them together and you notice that the textbook's earlier chapters will reference the later chapters that you can't understand until you learn all the topics. Miss Im teaches from the powerpoint, but she also says extra useful stuff. She usually takes a few days to go through the powerpoint and you do exercises in the meantime. However, she only puts the powerpoints online at the end of the topic so you have to write down everything on the powerpoint and the extra stuff she says which means you might not actually comprehend everything she says in the moment, so doing the excersises are really important. Lastly, the definitions have to be exact so I recommend flashcards.

I reckon she should give out fewer lunchtime detentions, for the smallest reasons and give fewer infringements for the smallest reasons. I think that she is a very injustice teacher because she expects us to achieve way too high standards in her class and punishes us when we don't meet the ridiculous expectations.

Just try your best to find information from other sources about tests, most, however not all of the test material is reviewed in class however not in depth so make sure you study at home and find out the things which weren't discussed in class

First of all, Mr Rapley is the G. O. A. T. To do well in this class you do need to be self-sufficient, but that goes for whatever class you're in for ATAR Chem. If Mr Rapley can see you're trying your best, he will try his best to help you. He gives out a lot of practice and past papers to emulate the WACE Exam, which is awesome because practice papers are the #1 key to doing well. Some things to avoid include: a) asking for too many extra marks (he might get a bit pissy with you if you get annoying) and b) eating in class (he will roast you). So yeah, Mr Rapley's the G. O. A. T. I saw him as a friend rather than a teacher, he always had my back.

This course is all about attention and passion; find a topic your interested in within the topic taught and really research that. The beauty of this Ancient History course is that Ms Secker explores all ideas, philosophys and connections between all aspects of the region taught (i. e. Egypt). To do well in this class I would focus more on the skills neded to write an Ancient History essay (as this can be applied for ATAR as well) and/or write a short answer find out what each buzzword means ('reflect', 'define', 'asses') this is invalauble in the exams, essays, short answers that will come and saves so much time in planning and stress. A recommendation would be if in Year 10 you are struggling with this course then another might be best, as it not only gets harder but expects you to build of from there. Another recommendation is to take notes, so many notes. It will help with revision. Use palm cards, quizlets and other forms of memorization to help with revision, but try to make it hand written as this will cement it in memory and be more useful in the long run.

Try your best to be creative and take risks; they might not pay off but Mr Temov will recognize your effort. Try not to talk to much until you have your work done as it will be mentioned. The best bit about the class is the freedoms and opportunities it gives you; the excersions and photo booth booking is a really great resource that can be applied over many classes.
