'Uncle Jim' Skaleski, is a fantastic band director. While he may be hard on his students, and push them outside of their comfort zones, it is ultimately because he cares to much about the students' success in the future and he wishes that they are the best they can be. All in all, without Skaleski's pushing (albeit, obnoxious and infuriating at times) I would never have stayed in band, and I would have been half of the musician that I am today.
