This not a class you can easily fail. The materials and curriculum are finely tuned for you to succeed, even if you doubt your own abilities. Enjoy yourself, and have fun. Because I can assure you, that you will have some fun. And be respectful.

I never technically graduated from Snohomish High School, and I ended up going to Job Corps -- based out of Moses Lake. Unbeknownst to me at the time, it required a lot less credits to graduate from a secondary school than a traditional public school. The standards for Washington state differ between school districts or counties within the state. (I don't know all the logistics, but it's something along those lines). This was one of the few classes, and teachers, I remember quite fondly. Educators that truly care about the success of their students is rare. I didn't get that same feeling until I went back to college, a little late in life, but I enjoyed it very much. I've been toying with the notion of getting my CTE certificate in the STEM field to be a teacher, myself. Or at least part-time. But that initial spark came from Mr. Juhl and getting to see his passion for teaching firsthand. I was not his favorite student, or his brightest by any means, but boy, did we take Lord of the Flies and run with it, and it was a blast.
