For French students, you must be engaged with the material. It is a language course -- don't expect it to be an easy A. Do the assignments, do your Duolingo, and try to challenge yourself with stories en francais. Also, pay attention.

Make sure you take notes on anything you don't understand and keep materials for the class in a separate folder than the rest of your work :)

Madame Havelaar is incredibly amiable, and a joy to have as a teacher. She is not only an educator, but also a friend. She's understanding of any accommodations her students may need, and is always there to talk to. Very cool.

She's super fun, understanding, and a cool person. She is so so funny and lets kids be a little chaotic as long as they get their work done and are being respectful
