Mr. Booth will prepare you for college-level writing no matter what. He is an amazing teacher. In order for you to succeed, you MUST actually read the texts provided. Personally, I would listen to them then watch the movie associated with the text. You must read because he has pop quizzes that, although do not affect your grade like at all, are still graded. You will learn how to critically think in both classes.

Specifically for IB Theory of Knowledge, you MUST do good on the practice TOK presentation and TOK essay because they will determine whether you keep your 4. 0 GPA or not. Memorize the TOK terminology for the final and it will be easy. The TOK essay is the most important and most impacting assignment for the entire course. If you do bad, you're doomed but if you do okay, you can raise it up with your second and final essay.

There is pretty much no way to succeed in this class. Don't take it personally if you fail your tests: LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE FAILS THEM TOO. If you do the assignments during the week, you should pass with around a B.

Having Mr. Nett is similar to what having a college professor is like, yet, he is caring and actually cares for you doing well. You must study and review lessons after they are taught. You must memorize formulas, derivatives and integrals in order to make the class easier. If you need help, Mr. Nett will always help. He may not seem that approachable at first, but once you get to know him better, he is a great and helpful teacher.

Tom Riel, 12th IB 20th Century History

Mr. Riel is an amazing and caring teacher. He might not seem approachable at first, but once you get to know him, he is a really helpful teacher who cares for your success. It may surprise you, but Mr. Riel a really nice, respectful teacher who has his routinely political talks with the class. I cannot believe I have to say this but he is not racist at all. Ignore those who say he is. They are just stupid. If you want to do good in the class, you MUST do the readings and assignments. Also, stay engaged in class and study the content routinely. It will help you with the IB exam (Class of 2020 did not have to take them YAY! ). He never has tests, essays nor quizzes. It is all about the homework.
