Take notes on what important steps to solve equations. The tests count way more than the homework, but the homework helps you succeed on the tests. Memorize the technique Mr. Hansen uses, so if you are stuck with your own method, you can rely on his.

This is from a 7th-grade student in North Middle School (he moved schools into "8th grade algebra and geometry"), He is a great teacher and doesn't make you embarrassed to ask questions. -Vjet Muth
