I think the biggest thing that I would tell a new student going into his class is that you should be prepared to a) write a lot and b) be able to remember a lot and what you read. One of the big things that people think is hard is being able to remember what you read while doing a study guide. But overall it is not that bad, if you are having trouble with the study guides he will help you by giving you resources.
