I have him for jazz 2/jazz lab. I recommend taking a solo and learn to improvise, even if you've never done it before. It'll help you become better at your instrument and you'll probably have more fun than you think. Don't skip rehearsal if you can avoid it and remember to get all of your supplies before a festival.
