Listen to his lectures, take notes, and if the homework is too much just tell him. If you are engaged in his class he will compromise with you and help. He is far more concerned with teaching as opposed to maximizing his student's GPAs or AP Exam scores. He is an ideal teacher if writing the long or short responses in AP World was easy for you. He will NOT EVER have you do a practice essay or DBQ, but you WILL know American history. So if you need a lot of writing help, I cannot recommend Mr. Demharter. But he is a very good lecturer who has a deep knowledge of American history.
