Always take notes and read further into the topic then you are asked to. Sadly, the majority if not all of what you are taught in class is unnecessary and review. Everything you are graded on is done outside of class. In a way, it is almost homeschooling yourself. If you are not prepared to teach yourself an entire two semesters of chemistry along with your other classes, then don't take AP Chemistry.
