IB Bio is hard. No getting around it. To do well you should pay attention in class. I personally never really did that and I ended up cram studying the night before tests. I'm good at bio stuff so it worked out but don't do that. Please take notes and ask questions. It's IB not AP. You still have to memorize stuff but not to the same extent. There is a much much much deeper focus on critical thinking. You will do a lot of writing on Paper 2s. Even for multiple choice, if you do not have an in depth understanding of the topics you will not do well. Being able to regurgitate info on the power points will not guarantee you an A, or even a B, or maybe even a C. The people who do the best are those who can critically think about the questions and answers. Another thing, this class moves fast. Like fast, fast. I highly recommend that you actually like bio are you will not have a good time.
