To succeed in class you HAVE TO memorize the material because you will be writing an essay about it for test although its only 5+ sentances. There is barely any homework and there is online materials and filled in noted if you've missed a class.

PAY ATTENTION TO CHARTS AND GRAMMAR. It's a language class so you need to understand how the words change to fit the sentence. Take time to memorize the charts/endings to make your life a lot easier. It'll also keep you from being completely lost in class. Not a lot of homework is assigned, if any, so just take the time to actually review outside of class.

Mrs. Mayhew is an amazing teacher

Mayhew makes it really entertaining to learn, she's not boring or mundane. If you just pay attention in class, it'll make a lot of sense. She's very willing to help so there's no need to be afraid of her.
