Mr. Hoskins is the best a teacher a can get but if you don’t put in the work and ask for help then you can start to struggle. Please try to put the terms down in your notes for the entire year and use quiz let to study (saved me big time). Ap Psychology can feel fast paced so find what works best for you and I can’t express how much memorization is a part of this class. Study, study, study. Mr. Dwyers testing lair was the biggest help for me, take those online tests 5+ before you take the exam and you will be in great shape.

It is a lot of reading the textbook. His quizzes arent based on memorization its of analysis of the stuff he never taught. Use the quarter study guides and be able to answer all of the questions on that paper. Pay attention in class because he sometimes tells you what is going to be on the quiz. Don't slack on NHD and try to do it over winter break.

Don't just memorize formulas, actually learn the concepts conceptually. The textbook is actually good if you don't understand something, its not a waste of time reading it unlike other classes but you won't always have to. Sometimes blindly doing the math gives you the right answer.

If you are in honors, do not put NHD off to the last minute!! Take brief notes, think about the content contextually and ask for clarification if you need it.

Learn the material conceptually, don't memorize formulas unless they are crazy (Taylor series). Visualize what each problem is actually asking.
