Make sure you focus on the skills more than memorizing the direct formulas. This means a lot of repetition of problem sets on Mathspace, etc.

Very vital to pay attention in this class but Mr. Linza thoroughly goes through each subject and is very helpful when students required help. Very interesting class!

A useful tip to succeed in Mr. Linza's class is to study the material for 30 minutes each day. Gradually get familiar with the content and test yourself frequently using the extra practice at the end of the unit.

Make sure to study the quizzes and pay attention/take notes during class. If you do those things, you will be an awesome student!

Make sure to complete all the homework and do the study guides for the tests as they can help tremendously with maintaining a strong grade.

I really enjoyed this class and the calm form of teaching. This class was one of the first times math truly made sense to me and there was clear, articulate instruction that fit my learning style.
