I would say that staying on top of notes and homework is the most important thing to do to succeed in Precalculus because that is the best way to understand the material. Mr. Linza has an amazing teaching style and really goes out of his way to help you do this by posting all of the notes, slides, schedules, and homework in advance, so if you're ever absent you can always see what you have missed exactly as it was presented in class. He teaches all of the material in such an easy-to-understand way, that as long as you pay attention, take the notes, and do the practices, the tests and quizzes are nothing to worry about. If you end up not doing well on a test, always take advantage of any retakes. This class solidifies your foundation for calculus really well, and is super important to set you up academically in the future. Mr. Linza prepares you super well for everything and was always available for help. Don't be afraid to ask questions when you don't understand; if you put in your best effort, you will succeed!

Pre-Calculus is the stepping stone into Calculus. It starts off easy (compared to towards the end), so make sure you truly understand the content and what you may get wrong on the earlier tests. Also make sure your grade stays high towards the beginning, because in our class the test scores began to dip in the second semester. By far the most important thing you can do in this class is just take the class notes. If you are organized, take the notes that he tells you to take in a meaningful manner, you are setting yourself up for success. Mr. Linza has been teaching the same class for longer than you have been alive, so he gives you everything you need to succeed in the easiest way to learn it. you will not find an easier way to understand any of the topics, the way he covers content is perfect, you just need to put in the effort to truly understand the math. The tests are always what you prepare for, and you don't have to worry about Mr. Linza failing to prepare you. The only summative grades are tests, so every time you get under 80, study and retake. Everything you need is given to you, if you don't understand a lesson, watch it again on Schoology. Don't ever go into a test feeling unprepared, you have everything you need to be ready to perform well on the test and in the class overall.
