All test material is reviewed in detail in class. Homework is a large part of the grade. Little memorization in class is necessary, but lengthy notes and participation in class is highly recommended.

People either really like or really don't like Ms. Moore's class. She's strict, but genuinely just wants the success of all of her students. Some favoritism, but working hard and showing interest easily makes her respect you. She moves really quickly, but is available most mornings and afternoons for help. You can get full credit for missed questions on homework if you redo them, but she isn't lenient on turning homework in late unless there's an extenuating circumstance. My depression and anxiety made it really difficult for me to show up to and participate in class and turn homework in on time, but she is super caring about students who voice their concerns, and will bend over backwards to help you once you make her aware of your situation. Doesn't tolerate nonsense or allow phones in class, and comes off harsh to many, but is all in all a very passionate teacher who is really nice if you get to know her better.
