This class is easily manageable if you give it enough time. It's a bit repititive because of the vocabulary homework and quizzes, which is expected for an english class, but also provides varience with reading short stories, dramas, AP passages, and doing major projects. The spring semester does get especially repetitive in order to prepare for the STAAR and usually goes like the following: vocabulary words at the beginnig of the week, practice STAAR passages in the middle of the week, or sometimes STAAR essay prompts, and the vocabulary quiz at the end of the week. This class provides a bit of a challenge, but work is not graded as harshly to provide a balance.
