The grading structure of the class is very good as it is total points which favor the students that do their work consistently. If I had one thing to say about this class to all ways read/annotate the work assigned because there is almost always a quiz after your reading for the night they don't count for much but they do add up fast. for me, i had a really good grade in the quiz section that much else didn't matter so I could coast by the end of my sophomore year in his class.

Mr. Sullivan was one of my favorite English teachers who were very passionate about the subject and he also was not grade centric. If you ever asked him what his grade was he would say he has no idea and says he doesn't care about the number but more about the hard work. (If you put in the work you will have an A)He has great humor and you will have a great connection to him. He is a little crazy sometimes but you will start to like him as a teacher the more you pay attention to his class.
