The course is designed to prepare you for the AP Chemistry exam. Therefore, anything that is not on the AP Chem formula sheet would need to be memorized (For example, the polyatomic ions powers), but Mr. Carlson will give you enough practice to get used to the test difficulty. Since the AP Chemistry test will focus primarily on labs, the class will make you do group labs, most of them without the assistance of Mr. Carlson.
