Her 8th grade English course is more open ended than anything. We spend the majority of the time on plays. I didn't really enjoy the book choice though, we read around 3, Novio Boy, Hamlet, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. We also read To Kill a Mockingbird and were supposed to read 19 Varietes of Gazelle but corona stopped that. Overall, I didn't really enjoy how open ended this class was. This may also be because she doesn't critique your work as often as I would like. This might just be a class thing, I've only had one class with her so I'm not that sure of her teaching style.
