Her classes are stupid easy, so it'd be very hard to fail anything she teaches. She rarely gives homework, and all classwork and tests are easy. She's very petty, and will get mad if you don't agree with her political standpoints, but what do you expect from history teachers?
The class is really hard and a teacher change in the middle (at least for me) shook things up, however, the replacement for Mr. Lazzaro was really really good. Anyways the class is the hardest class I have ever taken (Honors Biology for reference), make sure to know the material and concepts, and watch Amoeba Sisters and Khan Academy save your life, as the tests are so so hard. The class was an engaging experience that taught me a lot about not only biology but studying and school in general. The class was designed by someone who I admire very much (that being Mr. Lazzaro, who does not even teach Honors Bio anymore) and the way that the class was arranged was fantastic. It is really intimidating at first but will leave you with an experience that will help you throughout other classes and the rest of high school. Getting a 100 on the final test of the year is seriously one of my proudest goals. Mr. Lazzaro now is an assistant principal at another one of the schools at Plum, however, if he comes back to teach this class I encourage anyone who is recommended for the class to take the class.
Literally just practice your instrument and shut up in class. If you fail band that's just sad man.
