Be interested in what you can achieve with the tools and software provided for workshops. Don’t be afraid to ask what tools and machines do what, as you will need to know these for assignments and for using them. And make sure to help clean up the workshop after class.

This teacher let me explore my interest and helped guide me in my endeavors to achieve my own learning goals, and was always available outside of class sessions to either stop in to say hi to or to help with questions about class. Mr. Stuckey is a fun, genuine, and supportive teacher who I believe cares a lot about his student’s success. He helped foster a love in me for making things and solving problems, and I cannot thank him enough.
