Good Luck. I suggest getting Grammarly. Make sure you use punctuation correctly. During the Article of The Week portion, do them in advance, makes class so, so much easier. For Arms and the Man and Romeo and Juliet, take physical notes, it helps a lot later on. Don't skip analyzing things and writing poems just because they're ungraded, they become important later. Start preparing for the final as early as possible. Look for the final exam project directions revised. Have a good idea for writing, it doesn't need to be a formal-looking idea as long as it's well written. He grades with complete honesty.

You need to be a freaking professional writer if you wanna do descent in that class lol. You also need to have very good presentation skills and need to memorize most of your speeches. Her reading exams are challenging. This course was literally torture, and she did not help.

Mrs. Kemp was a new teacher, young but she LOVES assigning homework, you read your book at home and in school quizzes writing assignments. I think we read like 6-8 books over a semester.
