(AP Physics C) The points seen in the gradebook often mysteriously change without explanation due to unknown weighting. More often than not, this is in your favor. It's not uncommon to fail a few tests/quizzes. Don't let this discourage you, many students who have failed a test/quiz still end up with an A thanks to the large number of points and weighting. Make sure your Lab Reports are pristine - small lab points can make a very significant change in your grade thanks to the weighting. Out of all the classes in the school, it is most important to do your homework in this class. Failing to do so will result in the student immediately falling behind, losing points, and being thought unprepared by the instructor.

This instructor may at times struggle to perform calculations needed for the class, improperly teach sections, or implement basic identities (e. x. the pythagorean theorem) incorrectly. This instructor may be prone to bursts of anger, intense and biting sarcasm, and bitterness. At all times try to remain respectful and do not engage during these periods. It is not uncommon for this instructor to single out students and dress them down. If this happens to you, remember that every other student has sympathy for you and is most likely on your side. The instructor often references a belief that this class is superior to other classes and should take priority. It is important to budget a large allotment of time for this class, as this belief leads to extreme amounts of homework and projects.
