Nice guy, which makes the class pleasant. He explained how to do things and was more of a "do it yourself" class with a lot of worksheets, but since he explained how to do things the class was fairly easy to understand.

Try to read as much of the material assigned as possible; it's to help you, and it only hurts you to not do it. If you don't have enough time or there's issues in your life making it difficult to complete homework, just let him know - the class is fairly laid back and assignments can be turned in late sometimes.

Nothing really happens in this class. You will spend months doing no work then suddenly have a project due in a couple days. Always be prepared to work outside of class because projects are not given sufficient time. There are daily circle questions, so get comfortable answering. Your partner work is graded on your partners performance too so don’t let them mess around.

The summative essays are worth 80% of your grade. You will be writing more than 4 of them, and they can get fairly long! It's worth working on your essay writing skills. You may want to also read the novels he assigns and annotate every time, otherwise you will fail reading checks, which can help bring grades up or shut them down. Not a terrible class, but it's my hardest class and the one I struggle with most due to the sheer amount of work.
