This class offers a great experience in analyzing American fiction and poetry. weekly or bi-weekly, we would have to read a fictional source and write an essay to prepare for the AP Literature and Language test. All in all, this class mostly focuses on preparing for the AP test and, learning how to be more humane.

It is important to read and understand all of the deeper meaning in the texts, otherwise the class is very difficult and it is hard to follow along with the teacher.

Overall the class is great but in order to do well on the tests you will need to actually read and understand the books that are assigned.
