Honor programming I-II is a package deal class that offers a lot of credit hours if you complete and pass the AP test for it. In this class, the teacher will occasionally review the vocab and reinforce coding terms that are crucial for upcoming and future projects. However, towards the end of the year, we would receive numerous projects to complete and many would fail to reach the deadline. All in all, the class if a must, if you want to go into the programming field.

If you want to learn how to program, don't try to get "help" from previous students by just using their assignments (especially in this class compared to others). Try each assignment by yourself and ask questions as needed, but the process of learning is especially important for this class. Also, use your previous materials and programs to help you with current ones. Learning through trial and error will especially prepare you for the real world if you want to be a programmer in the future.
