For Honors American History, use Heyn's study guides for everything because the non-honors classes are studying the same stuff; the class is fun, but because of how often Mr. Fry gets off-track, it can be hard to actually learn the material. Study the slides and study guides, but not your actual notes (most often, they'll have tons of useless information). He puts so many detail-based little questions on things, so you have to memorize everything if you want an A (normally). Luckily, he curves a lot.

Work load is heavy. When writing in class essays or long multiple choice tests, make sure not to spend too much time in one spot or question. Do not take the grammar, vocab, prefix, and roots quizzes lightly- they add up.

Make sure that your prelab is sufficient and that you understand where you are trying to go with the lab before you conduct it. Tests usually have a couple extended response, so be prepared for that. Don’t play soccer. Buffalo Bills 4L.

Do the assigned work, and you are guaranteed to get at least an A-. Just don’t ignore Mr. P’s lessons and you are set.
