Class of 2025

If you don’t quit, then have fun i suppose. Have fun studying a ton. Constant memorization but that’s fair considering it’s a Spanish class. It was a ton of book work and just copying things down. If you love studying, the you’ll feel right at home! Otherwise have fun learning how to study :D. All of the tests are online through VHL but otherwise it’s a paper class. She doesn’t make the tests herself so she does a ton of anti cheating measures like no water bottles on desk. No phones allowed in class as well.

Class of 2025

You have to answer if she calls on you, so have fun if you’re a quiet kid. One time, I was called on and asked what a sentence meant, and I had no idea what the answer was. I said word for word, “I have no clue and I won’t be able to figure it out”. Of course, this was not taken as the correct answer, and I was told that I should “try to figure it out on your own”. After about 30-45 seconds of classroom silence, I was asked again. I said I had no clue still. I was told to get up and try to look at others papers. So I got up in front of the whole class and slowly meandered my way through the rows for about 50-60 seconds trying to see the answer. I saw none. So, I returned to my desk and sat there for another 10 or so seconds. I was asked again. I said again that “I don’t know and I won’t be able to figure it out” again. This didn’t do apparently and I was told “Let’s try to figure it out together. I was asked what the first word meant. I answered and was correct. She asked me what the second word was. I was incorrect. Of course I was. Because I already said I didn’t know. So she announced, “Okay class, what does ___ mean? ” A couple people answered as I just sat quietly in my seat. By the end of it, I had been the sole focus of the class for several minutes. That is one of my primary memories of the class. Have fun. This occurred a couple years ago, but all of it was from a diary entry I wrote 45 minutes after so it’s accurate. Oh, also, the average grade on the one of the last tests before the final was a D. Fun times.
