You need to read the required material, understand it and participate in class discussions, esp. if you are having difficulty understanding the material.

I had Mrs. Comienski (aka Miss Lutz) many many years ago for two years. I always remembered her as a thoughtful, nice teacher who was very fair. If she didn't know the answer to something, she would look it up and get back to you. (This was way before the internet, smart phones, etc. when you actually had to know what you were talking about! ) I remember when she was still working on her master's degree before she got married to one of our science teachers, Mr. Comienski. I am glad to see you are still teaching!
