I would tell future students that all their previous history classes all get connected through this class. You look at why people are where they are and other reasons behind geography. I would tell them to take full advantage of the powerpoints, they are very good study materials. Another thing that future students should know that is when an example is given in class/when we are taking notes to write down what she says since this tends to be some of the most important contents. The vocab is also very important, you should have them memorized or at least the key terms.

Mrs. Silvius is always available and ready to help and see her students succeed, She supplies them with the materials they need to be successful both in the class and on the AP Exam. This class was the connection of all my previous history classes since so many factors go into why people are where they are. Throughout the year we talked about a wide range of topics such as pollution, shapes of states, and farming methods. All of these factors help to make the class more interesting and enjoyable.
