To succeed in this class, you need to understand that you have to memorize everything. There is little room for interpretation in this class, so make use of Quizlet or flashcards.

I had him during corona so this may not apply in later years but he doesn't really teach so you will need to be prepared ot teach yourself quite a bit.

Throw yourself into this class. This course requires engaged students, and it really shows your work ethic if you participate meaningfully. It is a great class as long as you put effort into it. Make sure you do the readings, and don't use Sparknotes because quizzes are made specifically from parts of the readings that Sparknotes leaves out!
