Took BC Calc. Lots of homework dumped on you at the beginning of a unit and throughout it, and all of it is due at the end of the unit (usually about 3 weeks. ) Make sure to pace yourself so as not to procrastinate and have all of it due at the end (it is a LOT. ) As of this year, all assignments are equally weighted (homework, unit test) within a unit. This means that if you bomb a test (which you will, ) the large amount of homework will hold up your grade, even above a 90 (if you do well on the homework. ) A high amount of memorization is required (need to know lots of derivative and integral rules. ) Make sure that you understand everything when taking notes, because you will fall behind if you don't, as BC moves very quickly. It is possible to pass this class with an A, but it will end up taking over a large amount of your life.
