Mr. Lagos's class is fun and interactive. sometimes you do not feel like you are learning which makes the class much more enjoyable and not boring.

Pay attention in class, review the slides he gives you. Overall, Mr. Lagos keeps the class fun and he's really chill. He cares a lot about his students.

Multiple-choice exams are always followed by an essay the next day. Most of the time the tests are fair game but lots of questions are repeated but phrased in different ways. So if you don't know that one topic that seems small/irrelevant or "probably won't be on the test" there's always a possibility you could have 10 multiple choice questions on it. The essay portion of the test is not directly said prior to taking it but the topic is greatly "hinted" at. There is not a lot of homework in this class, but when it is given, it's a good amount so don't wait till the last minute.

Mr. Lagos is a nice teacher and connects with his students well. He does go through his power points fast but when you listen more and write/type notes less it helps you visualize the historical events in a clear way. When you don't understand something, the best way to learn is to ask him to summarize the concept. If you want to impress him he likes when you know geography. Overall, he's a good teacher that is always willing to help, understanding and is never unreasonable.
