The main thing you’ll need to do to succeed in Mr. Galasso’s class? STUDY! He is one of the only teachers that gives pop quizzes, and he gives them often. Memorization is part of what you’ll need to do, but also know the story. Studying events and knowing the dates is great, but you also have to know how events lead to one another and ultimately effect the world today! Also, you’ve gotta listen and take notes. He might say something and put it on a quiz! In the English part of his class, thinking deeply is key. VERY deeply. Hard passages will be discussed! I won’t lie. His class is hard. However, it’s worth every minute. In this class, you are encouraged to see every side of a situation and learn skills that will help you later on in life. Mr. G’s lectures will leave you thinking for days after! I can’t put into words how much this class has influenced me, but for those who are entering it, I can say this: Prepare to be changed.
