Do the homework, be prepared in class, review stuff at home. Mr. Unruh's an EXCELLENT teacher but he loves his tangents, which can last anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Participation, which is 15% of the grade (in AP Latin, that is), is absolutely guaranteed because of his cold-calling system. Given that you do your homework (which is also 15% of your grade), that means doing your homework everyday guarantees a 100 in 30% of your grade, with the added advantage of also helping you with tests (70%) and the AP itself.

Take notes on Mr Unruh's slides, and you'll generally be okay on tests. Try to review previous stages' vocabulary because a few words from the past might pop up in tests. Mr Unruh randomly calls on people using his dice methods, so you should have high participation points unless you forget your homework or act up in class. Have fun in Mr Unruh's class - he's a great teacher!

Take notes on parsing and translations, and be funny because it makes class enjoyable. Don't be intimidated, he's very wholesome and appreciates random jokes! Enjoy his fun tangents, and you're in for a wild time if he's drinking Starbucks in class or he's taken cough medicine
