Make sure to reread and annotate your papers multiple times. You will usually be allowed to use your papers during tests to provide evidence and having things annotated helps a lot. Make sure to write down any sort of figurative language that you see down since she will most likely ask you a question about figurative language.

Ms. Gill is honestly an amazing English teacher. She made the class very enjoyable but also made sure that you were improving as a writer. She would sometimes make jokes and she would ask students about their days. She always emphasizes how important it is to annotate and the books we read in class were very interesting. She doesn't give too much work but she does review and paper you hand in very critically. She likes to make sure that you don't repeat a word multiple times in a paragraph so she lets you have a thesaurus open on your phone to find different alternatives. While she does like to have fun don't take that for granted. Get your work done on time and don't fool around all class period.
