I had Mr. Tomlet for band class throughout all four years of high school. I came into his class for the very first time with no idea how to play the flute and graduated being first chair. Mr. Tomlet is an excellent musician and a band teacher. He is extremely patient handling and coaching students playing different instruments in one class. I have seen him improve his teaching style over the years and I am so glad to have been in his class. Mr. Tomlet may be seen as shy and introverted but once the baton is placed in his hands, he is the most confident. It was a great honor to witness greatness in Mr. Tomlet.
