If you’re putting in work, and coming away learning something, that’s truly all that matters. If Fris sees you working and trying hard, he will work with you because all he cares about is that he’s teaching you something and it’s sticking with you. Truly the best type of teacher, turned around my difficulty with math thru high school.

Class of -1
I’ll start by saying I never would have understood calculus without Fris, and now I remember a good amount 15 years later because of him! He has a way of explaining things that makes concepts accessible for all learning styles - he never gives up until he hits the explanation that makes it click for *you. * Beyond that - Fris is an absolute legend of a teacher. His impact goes so far beyond the textbook or the classroom - he genuinely cares for his students and is never afraid to help them out by pulling in other staff supports, guide interactions in the classroom and the hallways/downtime to help with conflict, or just to be unofficial counselor and listen if a student is going through it and needs to vent. I have wondered for years if he knows how truly impactful he has been on the Bethlehem student body. 15 years later and I’m still so grateful he was my teacher. He’s saved kids from desperation, extreme isolation, addiction and abuse just by being there, listening, doing everything he could to advocate - I don’t even think he has any idea how broad and deep of a difference he’s made in so many lives coming out of that town. His students and his Hooligans will ALWAYS love and respect him, he’s an icon and top teacher. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being you Mr Fris. You and that shellacked cat live in our hearts forever!!!
