The tests do not reflect the homework. The tests are very long and most kids do not finish the test, every test. There is a lot of useless formulas that need to be memorized for the test but will not help you in math or ever again. Only a hard class because of the teacher. Test material is not reviewed in class or in the textbook.
PARTICIPATE IN CLASS. This is the ONLY OTHER GRADE aside from tests; he will not tell you exactly how participation is calculated. However, filling out the chapters’ reading guides does play a part. Often, your reading will be assigned the day that it is due; I recommend reading ahead in the textbook.
