I'm so happy to have you as a teacher. You're one of the best teachers I have ever had. Your class was very inspiring. Everybody told me not to take your class because you are so strict except for one student he told if you want to learn physics then take his class and he was right. Although physics is not the only thing that you tought me. You taught how to admit what I did instead of looking for an excuse, and how to be honest. You are one of those teachers that treat their students as their friends and family. You listen to us and understand us. Thank you isn't good enough for all the difference you made in my life.

STUDY HIS NOTES!! especially the one from 'dr. liao's unpublished textbook'!! His notes are always helpful, they never let you down, and READ when he tell you to REaD. He will asks you questions, and you better not say "I don't know"! Also remember to bring your red pen, pen, pencil and highlighter at all times!! The only time you need to use your memorization, is to memorize the formula, because not all of them are in the reference table. Otherwise, memorizing things won't get you far. Physics is Life!!!

This is one class you do not want to slack off in! Consider this a warning! DO NOT copy the homework from the Solution Manuel. Do it yourself, trust me. I know it’s tempting... When you do it yourself, you understand the concepts much better. GO TO TUTORING!!! I can’t stress this one enough. Tutoring is so helpful. Dr. Liao is ALWAYS available for his students. He will go over tests, Homework questions, etc... Go during your lunch or after school. He stays till 5 like every day! It would be in your best interest to take advantage of that. Participate in class. I know for my more reserved people, this is a challenge. But remember, even if your wrong, it’s ok. What’s the worst that will happen? STUDY every night!!! READ THE MAN’S NOTES!! His notes are marvelous! I can’t tell you how many times I got questions wrong on his tests, and he has pointed out the concepts of those questions right in my notes!!! I simply didn’t look or study carefully. READ READ READ!! Dr. Liao will post homework’s with this description. DO IT!!! Read the pages assigned in the textbook. When you read the pages in the textbook, and you come to class the next day, you would understand what’s being talked about, and you could clear up any misconceptions. Last but not least, memorization will not get you far. This is coming from a big memorizer herself. You cannot do well in physics just based on memory. Sure you’ll have to memorize formulas, but a lot of logic, common sense, common knowledge, and reasoning come into play! Trust me, you can survive Dr. Liao’s class! It’s not as life threatening as people make it seem!
