Make sure to study your vocab everyday, reading and writing. The class is extremely hard if you dont keep up with the new vocab you learn everyday as you build off from it. There are a lot of quizzes that require you to know the vocab from the unit. If you study and do the homework, (really do the work, no google translate like I did), you will actually learn and do well. Study study study! Its all memorization

Best class I've ever had. Here are some tips: - Try to participate in class dicussions almost always (not required tho! ) - The tests are very fair and unless you read the book its an easy 100 - For essays, be more creative, and make the paragraphs flow! --> he expects more from your writing & wants to hone your skills in it - Not a lot of tests tbh! : the tests consists of multiple choice and a short response which is analysis of characters
