Mrs. Bedell is the sweetest and most caring teacher, but she will not let anyone mistake her kindness as weakness. She is extremely intelligent in her field and knows exactly what you need to hear to succeed. Sometimes she will assign a lot of work. All of her work is reasonable, however. This is the type of class where you have to stay motivated. Her tests and quizzes are all fair, and reviewed extensively. Mrs Bedell uses fun and crafty lesson plans sometimes as review that are useful and organized for studying. Overall if you show her respect, you will get it back. I really enjoyed my year with Mrs Bedell.

The class is a lot of fun. You get to read interesting books with the teacher. You also get to watch a lot of movies based on books. The teacher will assign a fun project.

for her AP psych class, i suggest doing all of the material she offers. her teaching style is to immerse students into what she is teaching, and is very hands on. she is also very kind, and will always be able to talk to you

Ms Sosa made me forget how to speak French. we rarely wrote and she only taught us vocabulary. she would give us a ditto with words, and the have us look up the translation online. this can be helpful but when you're given 40 words to look up in 5-10 minutes, you're more focused on finishing the ditto rather than learning the words. she then gives you more dittos to work on from the vocab that she previously gave you, and expects you to learn everything on your own through these sheets. anything not finished in class is homework, and in a full year I did not get one lesson in French from her. however, we learned a lot about French history. I would have liked it if I was taking a French history class, but I was trying to learn a language and I felt like the class was not geared towards actually developing French. I spent most of the year frustrated during this class, because I felt that I wasn't learning anything and the class only wasted my time. Ms Sosa is an amazing person to talk to, however. she is very wise and sympathetic, but her advanced French class is a waste of time.
