[Mr. Botros's grading policy goes as follows: - Hw: 30% of total grade - Quiz: 10% of total grade - Test: 40% of total grade - Classwork: 20% of total grade The reason he does this is that he's a firm believer in homework. If you do your homework, the best chances you'll pass the class with a B. Just do the work please. ] - Tests are often fairly long and take up the entire period. He will allow you to use a calculator during the test. Some students use their phones, but they often are the worst hiders. - Quizzes are rare. The big thing you need to worry about is tests. Even then, the test is similar to the study guide. - REMEMBER. YOUR. FORMULAS! Formulas will help you with the tests. - Mr. Botros doesn't post his work in his own name. He has another teacher do it for him. Don't let the Remind text fool you. Write down the page number for the homework. - Your class will be a mix of freshmen, sophomores, and seniors. Often times you'll have as many sophomores as seniors with one or two freshmen in class. Get to know some of them well. They will be some of your social contacts throughout high school if you're lucky.
