AP Lit is a LOT of writing, and even more reading/annotating. She gives more reading quizzes than most teachers I've worked with, and they're not always just comprehension. She's harsher on annotations than most too. She's very good for students who are Type A, but for people that don't like the methodical approach, the class is challenging, stressful, and time consuming. That being said, she knows the AP LIt exam extremely well, and it's pretty decent prep.

- Classes are discussion-based largely - Homework is always a reading that will be discussed the following class. Read it. You will be fine as long as you read it. - Tests (in IB History) are just in-class essays, which is hard, but requires more analysis and argument than it does memorization. I prefer this. - Tell her if you have a problem or are over-worked. She will listen and accommodate.
