for preAPUSH, honestly just be ready for an assessment at any moment, we started off the year with an LEQ and had a bunch of others throughout the year (as well as DBQs and SAQs) to prepare us for the AP exam the next year. he’s overall pretty chill about handing in work and you can be honest with him about it. you also have reading quizzes like every day so either do the readings or accept 20s (although i got bad grades on those and ended with an A- so it was okay i suppose). nothing unreasonable but the readings were always extremely long so basically nobody did them in our class.
